These items should be placed with opposing poles on one end. If similar ends are placed together, a repelling force will arise between them. This force could cause demagnetisation. The keeper should be placed between the two opposite poles. The material will absorb the magnetism and manage the detrimental effects of the generated field.
Prevent Corrosion
The corrosion of a rare earth magnet causes demagnetisation. Therefore, consider the options for managing this detrimental reaction.
